Our Vision

Our vision is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world — to invite unbelievers into God’s family and help them experience a life-changing relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. We demonstrate His love by serving and giving to those in need, regardless of their background or beliefs.

Who We Are

ShepherdNSheep Evangelism & Missions Ministry, Inc. (SNS) is not a church, but a fellowship of believers from various congregations who recognize Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Together, we extend the work of the universal church through evangelism, discipleship, and missions.

We believe in:

  • The virgin birth, sinless life, death, resurrection, and return of Jesus Christ.
  • Salvation through faith and confession in Him alone.
  • The eternal assurance of those who belong to Christ — His sheep.

Jesus is our Good, Great, and Chief Shepherd, and we are His sheep — devoted to doing His work and sharing His love with the world.

Our History

The Lord gave this vision to Inolia Yearby Johnson, M.A.C.E., in May 1999. SNS was incorporated that July in the State of Louisiana and recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in September 1999.

Originally known as ShepherdNSheep Theatrical Ministry, Inc., our name was expanded to reflect our broader mission — evangelism, discipleship, and missions.

Our Leadership

SNS is governed by a Board of Directors composed of devoted believers from multiple churches.

Founder of SNS, Inolia Yearby Johnson, coordinates evangelism, outreach, and discipleship at our Louisiana location
Executive Director of Houston, Victoria L. Plante, M.Div., J.D., coordinates evangelism, missions, and discipleship at our Houston, Texas location.

All ministry actions are prayerfully approved by the Board of Directors.

We believe the Word of God is:

  • Written — inspired by the Holy Spirit
  • Spoken — alive and active
  • Living — embodied in Jesus Christ

God’s Word is eternal and unchanging.

Our Commitment

We joyfully follow Christ’s command to “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel.”

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” — John 3:16

Over the years, God has allowed SNS to:

  • Train more than 450 students in evangelism
  • Consultation of local churches in the creation or revival of evangelism & missions ministries
  • Partner with churches to strengthen outreach
  • Host revivals, VBS, and community events
  • Spread the Gospel in six U.S. states and multiple countries
